2006 Black filly.
Very nice moving filly with an incredible disposition. She loves
people and loves to get attention from her human friends. This

out of a daughter of the celebrated Spanish Stallion Vallehermoso.
The dam of this filly is a granddaughter to the multi champion

HORSE BOOK
BRAND NEW - NEVER OPENED - PERFECT CONDITION
This is a brand new copy of Al
Khamsa Arabians II, a 671 page hard cover book
published in 1993 by Al Khamsa, Inc. The book contains a
brief history of Arabia and the Bedouin horse breeding tribes
together with a map illustrating the various tribe's areas of
influence. An extensive glossary of Arabian horse terms is
followed by an Anthology of selections from foundation Al
Khamsa breeders including Prince Mohamed Aly, Randolph
Huntington, Spencer Borden, Peter Bradley, W. R. Brown, Homer
Davenport, Wilfred Blunt, Lady Ann Blunt, Albert Harris, The
Royal Agriculture Society (Egypt) and Sir James Penn Boucaut
(Australia). Ancestral elements are thereafter discussed in
great detail, identifying all of the core of foundation horses
included in each element. The next section identifies all of
the foundation horses alphabetically replete with many rare
photographs. Finally, the Europa Foundation Stock and the
Pre-Registration horses are identified and discussed in great
detail, again illustrated with of many rare photographs.
Following a prodigious Bibliography, there is a pedigree index
that lists every Desert Arabian, Al Khamsa, Asil horse
identified or registered up through AHR# 450000 and CAHR#
21900. Lastly, there is a Progeny index that lists the
progeny of every horse from the pedigree index with Desert
Arabian offspring.
This massive book is provides information on
North American Al Khamsa horses, those Arabians descended
entirely from Bedouin desert stock. Al Khamsa, Inc., the
publisher, is a non-profit organization dedicated to education
and research regarding such horses. To produce this book, they
studied an enormous amount of information, including original
desert documentation, stud books, private breeding records,
and other documentation such as the Raswan Index. The living
breeding stock which qualified by their standards is listed
and cross-listed in this book. There is also an enormous
amount of background information on Arabia and the tribes,
ancestral elements, a pedigree index, and a progeny index.
Many black and white photos are included.
This book is an expansion of the first Al Khamsa Arabians, and
